Cette sélection vient récompenser le travail accompli par la jeune Varoise depuis le début de la saison et ses excellents résultats. « Nous profitons de ce grand moment pour remercier tous ceux qui lui font confiance depuis ses débuts à savoir le golf de Valescure, la ligue Paca, ses pros présents (Alexandre Cardinal) et passés (Benoît Ducoulombier et Franck Mazzarese) ainsi que tous ses amis », déclare Laurent Alonso.
Pour la première fois dans l’histoire de cette compétition, trois Françaises figurent dans la sélection. Outre Emilie Alonso, il y aura également Céline Boutier et Manon Gidali. Les douze joueuses de l’équipe européenne seront connues demain.
