Vingt-et-un Français ont effectué le voyage en Angleterre, dans la région de Bristol, pour disputer le British Boys. Parmi eux figurent six Provençaux : Thomas Grava, Julien de Poyen, Christian Verrougstraete, Nicolas Manifacier, Joris Etlin et Romain Langasque.
Eliminés prématurément lors des championnats de France des Jeunes, les trois derniers auront à cœur de bien figurer dans ce tournoi joué sur deux parcours réputés dont le premier (Burnham and Berrow GC) a accueilli le Brabazon cette année. Mieux vaudra ne pas avoir oublié sa tenue de pluie et ses pulls car ce matin il pleuvait et la température dépassait à peine les 10° pour les reconnaissances des deux golfs distant d’une dizaine de miles.
