Reléguée l’an dernier en 3e division, la jeune équipe d’Aix-Marseille n’y sera restée qu’une saison. Auteurs du meilleur score de la qualification (713) devant leurs homologues du Set Golf (719), les Aixois et Marseillais ont écarté de leur route à l’accession Charmeil en quarts (5,5 à 1,5) puis plus difficilement Garden Avignon (quatrième de la qualification avec 727) en demies (4 à 3).
Vainqueur (5 à 2) des Volcans en quarts, le Set Golf a échoué de très peu face à Mionnay (4 à 3) dans l’ultime rencontre pour la montée après avoir mené 3 à 1 à l’issue des deux premiers simples.
